The fine unwinds into the fun across three distinct levels at Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s outdoor lounge, Grand Social. Relax over a late afternoon apéritif and spirited games of bocce on our new courts situated on the second level. As evening unfolds, venture to our newly installed ground-level lawn to savor irresistible wood-fired dishes and skillfully crafted cocktails.

Grand Social will re-open for the Halloween Spooktacular on Saturday, October 25 and for the holiday season on Thursday, November 27, 2025.

This season at The Grand Social, we’re bringing the magic in two unforgettable ways — first with our spine-chilling Halloween Spooktacular, packed with haunting décor, live DJs, and costume thrills, and then with our enchanting Festive Glice Season, where you can glide across our eco-friendly rink and soak up the holiday spirit with mulled wine, hot chocolate, and winter wonderland vibes.
The Grand Social Summer Concert Series will resume in May for music, connection, and unforgettable memories.
Halloween Spooktacular
Get ready to embark on a spine-chilling adventure with the entire family at Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s much-awaited Halloween event and step into a world of enchantment as the Grand Del Mar comes alive with Halloween magic.
Put on your most creative and spooky costumes and join us for an unforgettable outdoor gathering at Grand Social on Saturday, October 25 starting at 5:00 PM
General Admission $50 per adult, $30 per child, plus tax and gratuity
Glice Skating and Santa
Embrace the joy of the season with friends and family at Fairmont Grand Del Mar’s exceptional Glice skating rink, designed for eco-friendly recreation along with Santa and his friends. Ensure an unforgettable experience by reserving our exclusive cabanas complete with firepits.
Indulge in the festive spirit with our holiday-themed beverages, delightful seasonal treats, and the timeless pleasure of s’mores by the fire. Rental skates are included, or you can bring your own, but recreational shoes are not permitted.
$45 per adult, $25 per children (plus tax)
Monthly Skating Passes are available for $150 per person (plus tax).
