Farm-Fresh French Classics
Amaya’s menu is defined as much by an allegiance to French tradition as it is to Southern California’s bounty through the seasons. Dine on time-honored French brasserie classics including towering plateaux de fruits de mer, pillowy Parisienne gnocchi, and steelhead trout à la Véronique prepared with the freshest ingredients sourced locally. Complement your meal with carefully curated selections of charcuterie and cheese from small-scale purveyors throughout California and France.
About the Executive Chefs
Amaya’s executive culinary team celebrates the simple pleasures of flawlessly cooked local produce, enhanced by haute-cuisine techniques cultivated through extensive experience at some of the world’s most celebrated restaurants. Executive Chef Bryn McArthur’s brings his thirty-year career to the table using high-end ingredients along with deliciously clever updates on French favorites which he most recently implemented, as Chef de Cuisine at The Savoy in London. Chef de cuisine Roman Garcia joins Amaya from Selby’s in Atherton, California, which earned a Michelin star during his tenure as Chef de Cuisine. Garcia’s culinary journey also includes positions at Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe, W Hotel San Francisco, and Bacchus Management Group.
A Brasserie State of Mind
When they first began appearing in Paris in the 19th century, brasseries served as a destination for all, places built around conversation and camaraderie, and where comfort met culinary traditions. Amaya embodies this ethos with relaxed indoor-outdoor dining spaces and cooking that exemplifies the authentic flavors and gastronomic riches of France with a modern touch.
