In addition to nearly seven full acres of practice areas, we’ve assembled a team of accomplished, PGA-certified teaching professionals and a battery of interpretive tools – from high-speed digital cameras to the SAM PuttLab. From putting to driving, and every shot in between, our team of experts will work on your trouble areas to address every manner of stroke, resulting in measurable and meaningful improvement across your entire game. Available for resort guests and members.

Three-Hour "Train Like the Pros" Session
90-Minute Putting Evaluation
Fine tune your game on the greens with a complete putting evaluation, featuring a SAM-Putting Stroke Analysis, used by the top players on the PGA, LPGA and Champions tours. The intelligent SAM PuttWare automatically evaluates the putting strokes, calculates all relevant parameters – e.g. rotation, acceleration, swing duration or impact – and graphically displays the results, revealing precise information on how to improve your game and tailor individual training strategies.

Full-Day Program
Begin the day with a valuable on-course evaluation. Then, practice your full swing and short game on the practice area, and receive a SAM-Putting Stroke Analysis, evaluating your technique and movement skills, before finishing back on the golf course in the afternoon to apply your improved techniques.

The “On-Course” Experience
Whether you are looking to improve your full swing, chipping, specialty shot skills or more practical aspects of the game such as putting, rules, etiquette and controlling your ball’s flight, there is nothing like on-course instruction and situational practice to test every aspect of your game. As you encounter a particular challenge, you will receive individualized instruction tailored to your skill level.

Custom Club & Putter Fitting
Experience the most complete outdoor club and putter fitting analysis available – previously only offered to touring professionals. You’ll test drive the latest golf equipment from major manufacturers including Callaway, Titleist, Ping and TaylorMade. Using state-of-the-art launch monitor technology and TalyorMade TP5x golf balls, we discern what works best for your game.
Date & Time: Wednesday – Saturday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Cost: Complimentary with club purchase or $50 for resort guests / $75 for non-guests
Weekly: Full Swing Clinic
After analyzing your full swing strengths and key areas of improvement, our PGA-certified pros develop a game plan made to build the confidence you need on the course.

Putting Clinic
Master the greens, shave strokes off your next round and let experts customize a routine to improve your game and lower your score. Open to all levels.

the Grand Junior golf Academy
Whether your children want to learn the game or are already golfers, they can hone their skills at our Junior Golf Clinic: Fridays 4:00-5:30 pm. Junior golfers learn the fundamentals of grip, posture, weight shift, speed and course etiquette.
Cost: $50 per child (ages five to 12), includes rental clubs; golf attire required
The Grand Me and My Golf TaylorMade Fitting Experience
This Ultimate Experience includes a private two days with Piers Ward or Andy Proudman at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar. One of them with accompany you to The Kingdom at TaylorMade for your custom full bag fitting. You will leave with a custom driver as part of your package. The second day you will get a two-hour lesson from one of them and play a complimentary round on Tom Fazio’s only San Diego course The Grand Golf Club.
